International Briefs from Tackle Trade World - a growing army of American carp anglers is now able to get its hands on British-made carp rods through Japanese giant Daiwa.
Tom Komatsu, president of Daiwa USA, told TTW: "We are bringing in four ranges of carp rods manufactured in Scotland to the USA. Carp fishing is not huge here but it has a growing following, and the UK is seen as the leader in carp fishing. So to be able to distribute British-made rods into the American market is very pleasing."

Port Severn Ontario: I was first introduced to Six Mile Lake over two decades ago when our kids were young and our family regularly camped there at the Provincial Park. Of course camping and fishing go together like campfires and hot dogs, so bass fishing was always a major part of all our camping excursions.
