January 13-15 was the 11th annual Muskie Show. Hardcore Muskie fisherman and lure specialists were in attendance to shop, sell, and test out lures. Harper College in the city of Palatine just north of Chicago was where the Muskie show was held. Inside there were many booths selling and promoting lures from all over North America. Fisherman even had the capability of testing out lures in a large swimming pool.

Esox Angler, Muskie hunter magazines were also in attendance.

Even muskie artwork was on display by the artist.

Soft plastic muskie lures are becoming a big part of avid fishermans arsenal.

Greg Nimmer’s lures. He custom makes his own brand of lures which are hoton the market. He lives on Lake Tomahawk which happens to be his favourite lake. He catches trophy northern pike and muskie.

Pretty expensive lures even reaching up to $80.00 a piece

Salmo lures are also a part of the muskie fishing arsenal

This is the lure testing pool. Anglers have the opportunity to check out the action of their sought out lures.
